The Hotel Security Star Certification is devided into four steps. All the risk audit inspections are made by a Risk Engineer. Grades are consistent with previous star system from 1-5.
5 stars is the highest and 1 the lowest. In order to be certified by a Hotel Security Stars certification requires a minimum of 3 stars.
Step 1
In the first step a Risk Engineer from Hotel Security Stars will inspect your hotel by evaluating the hotel security both ocular and going through a thourough wide risk audit material. This audit will take at least one day depending on the size of the hotel.
Step 2
By your choice the hotel can upgrade by completing a training program with Hotel Security Stars. Our Risk Engineer specialist in one of our fields will train you and guide you through the program.
After completing these training programs the hotel safety certification grades can be achieved. If the training already is continuisly in progress there is still a possibility to get your hotel ceritified.
After the risk audit process, training and implementation there will be an upgrading opportunity (if needed) to improve the hotel, its staff and organization in order to reach higher security and safety knowledge and higher Star gradings.
Step 3
The hotel security certification will be achieved after the inspecting risk engineer has approved the evaluation and all agreed upgrades are in place. This will be inspected during a second inspection visit.
Step 4
All data from both inspections will be considered. The certification program is now achived and the hotel will get a Hotel Security Stars Certification.
Some criterias among others:
Hotel Security Stars covers many different criterias of hotel safety, security, continuity management and first aid for the hotel, the guests and its staff. All in order to have a resilient safe hotel and secure hotel for the guests and personal.
During the audit all sorts of safety and security checks will take place.
Some of the fields are:
Fire safety
Organization within safety and security
Safety and security routines
Security protection and prevention
Reception safety/security management
First Aid, CPR and heart starter(Automatic External Defibrillator - AED)
Crisis management
The classification system is carefully developed during years, based on science test results, experience, laws and standards.
This gives a wide spectra of knowledge where each area and field are classified and will be considered during the risk assessments.
The Risk Audit process:

We analyse you major risk together with you. We provide you with a report for preventive actions in order to reach higher scores.

We grade you with an instantaneous star grade (1-5) and provide you with an internal grade.

We make a plan for improvement, upgrade and do an annual audit together with you.

By your choice we educate, train and certify you in order to be able to apply for a higher star grading and for quality assurance.

In your pace we do a follow-up with new scoring.
